Budva and Sveti Stefan Tour

Budva and Sveti Stefan

Budva is one of the most cosmopolitan cities on the Adriatic coast. The old town is surrounded by a medieval city wall. Inside the gates, there are numerous picturesque streets where one can explore. In the old town there are many remnants of the turbulent Middle Ages including the Roman Catholic St. John's Cathedral and the Eastern Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity. The central square of the town is dominated by an Austrian fortress, simply known as the citadel, which was built in the 19th century. Our guide takes you through this historic labyrinth full of culture.
After Budva we drive to Svelte Stefan where we stop for a photo shoot. (With smaller groups it is also possible to take a very nice walk along Sveti Stefan). It is one of the most idyllic places on the Adriatic coast. The village situated on the peninsula (originally a fishing village) was one of the most popular destinations for the rich until the early nineties. Among the famous guests include Claudia Schiffer, Sylvester Stallone and Elizabeth Taylor.
