A Jewel of the Bay of Kotor – Perast

I just came back from a short excursion in the Bay of Kotor this morning. I can't express how blessed and lucky I feel that Montenegro and the Bay of Kotor which I present to guests provides me with what seems like an endless source of inspiration.

I see that guests share the same feel ... it's not that difficult to make a good first impression with guests. The overwhelming majority of them are in awe of their introduction to Montenegro. What I am referring to specifically is the guests that come in via cruise. Their morning arrival takes them through the very impressive mouth of the Bay of Kotor, through the Herceg Novi Riviera and into the natural labyrinth that is the UNESCO protected Bay of Kotor, or Bokokotorski Zaliv in the native language. The almost vertical one kilometer high rock cliffs, along with the blue Adriatic sea and incredibly charming and spontaneous old towns provide an irresistible feel.

Everything in sight, no matter how bold and imposing, seems to be in harmony; the awareness that the way of life has been tried and tested for centuries, that both hard work and relaxing is equally valued with the locals, that the uniqueness of every personality is a real asset and something to be valued, that life and balance and freedom is a dream that is real here.... what a wonderful place, and how lucky I am to share it with people all around the world.

See you soon!
